We are thrilled to unveil our latest completion at Montgomery Close. This project involved a significant rear extension and a complete internal reconfiguration, transforming a traditional layout into a light-filled, contemporary sanctuary designed for family life and entertaining.
The Heart of the Home The centerpiece of this renovation is the expansive open-plan kitchen and living area. We installed a bespoke Shaker-style kitchen featuring a stunning two-tone design—crisp white cabinetry contrasted by a statement island in a soft heritage blue. The kitchen is accented with brushed brass knurled hardware and pendant lighting, adding a touch of warmth and luxury.
Architectural Details & Light To maximize natural light, the extension features a large roof lantern and wall-to-wall bi-fold doors that dissolve the boundary between the interior and the garden. In the dining area, we created a feature tray ceiling with concealed LED strip lighting, providing an ambient glow for evening meals.
Bespoke Joinery & Hidden Features True craftsmanship lies in the details. One of the standout features of this project is the custom media wall, framing a modern linear fireplace and recessed TV. However, the real showstopper is the “hidden” secret door. camouflaged within the panelling, which leads seamlessly into the utility and hallway, maintaining the clean lines of the living space while offering practical functionality.
Finishes The entire ground floor is unified by a premium oak herringbone floor, which draws the eye through the room and adds texture to the modern aesthetic. The exterior brickwork was carefully sourced to match the existing property, ensuring the new extension feels like an organic evolution of the original home.
