About Ensign
Ensign Building Projects is a family-run building company based in Warrington. We work on home extensions, loft conversions, renovations, new builds and selected commercial projects across Cheshire and the North West.
Our team brings together more than 40 years of building experience. We combine practical planning, clear communication and careful workmanship to help clients move from an initial idea to a well-managed build.

A family building company
A family business that takes the work personally.
Building work changes the way people use their homes, so the details matter. We take time to understand the property, the result the client wants and the practical issues that need resolving before work starts.
Ensign combines the personal service of a family business with the planning and coordination needed for larger residential projects. The aim is straightforward: communicate clearly, look after the property and deliver work we are prepared to put our name to.

What we build
Building work shaped around the property and the brief.
Ensign works across home extensions, loft conversions, renovations, new builds and selected commercial projects. Each service page explains the work in more detail and shows the information that helps us understand an enquiry.
Home extensions
Well-planned extensions that create useful space and feel like a natural part of the existing home.
Loft conversions
Thoughtfully designed loft conversions that turn unused roof space into practical, comfortable rooms.
Full-house renovations
Complete property renovations for clients who want to rethink the layout, improve the finish and bring an entire home up to date.
Luxury new-build homes
One-off new homes delivered around the client's plans, specification and vision, with care given to every stage of the build.
Selected commercial work
Selected commercial building projects where the scope, access and project responsibilities can be understood clearly.
Project recognition
